Introducing the "Groove Cube - An Interactive Music Creation Device," a pioneering project in the intersection of music and technology. Designed for those new to music production, this installation is a journey into the heart of music creation, made accessible and engaging for all.

A key contributor to this project took on the critical roles of 3D modeling, circuit hardware design, and Arduino coding. Each aspect was pivotal in transforming the concept into a tangible, interactive experience.

The installation's centerpiece comprises four interactive cubes, each representing a core musical instrument: bass, drums, guitar, and piano. The contributor's expertise in 3D modeling was essential in designing these cubes. Every cube was crafted to intuitively represent different musical styles, with each face symbolizing a unique sound or rhythm, making the musical exploration both engaging and educational.
The project also features three physical devices that allow users to delve into acoustic effects like reverb, echo, and equalization. The design and assembly of these devices' circuit hardware were meticulously executed. Utilizing Arduino Pro Micro/Leonardo and Arduino UNO boards, along with various sensors and input devices, the contributor created an intricate system that translates physical interactions into rich auditory experiences.

In the realm of software, the contributor's Arduino coding skills were paramount. The code developed was the linchpin that integrated physical interactions with the digital world. It translated the manipulation of cubes and devices into MIDI signals, which interacted with Ableton Live to trigger audio loops and effects, thus animating the users' musical compositions.
3D Printed Prototypes
Responding to user feedback, the project was enhanced with LED lights that respond to the music's volume. This addition, also a result of the contributor's work, provided a visual dimension to the auditory experience. The programming ensured that the lights accurately reflected the music's nuances, enhancing the overall sensory experience.

This project stands as a testament to the power of merging artistic creativity with technological expertise.
